A Place Where Purpose Meets People

A Historic Space. A New Mission.
Welcome to The Sanctuary
Where timeless architecture meets modern community impact.

Nestled along the Susquehanna River, The Sanctuary at 2147 N Front Street is more than a beautifully preserved gothic limestone church — it’s a new hub for hope, connection, and community. With its soaring ceilings, intricate stonework, and rich history, this landmark structure is now home to Carly’s Hope Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting adoptive families across Pennsylvania. But The Sanctuary offers more than just a headquarters — it is a growing center for local engagement and collaboration.

Carly’s Hope is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping families overcome the financial barriers of adoption. We offer grants, personalized fundraising support, and a compassionate community to walk alongside families every step of the way. Rooted in lived experience, we believe every child deserves the chance to grow up in a safe, loving home—and we’re here to help make that dream a reality.

Explore the Community Calendar to stay engaged with everything happening around Carly’s Hope. From adoption workshops and fundraising events to family gatherings, community celebrations, and volunteer opportunities, there’s always something meaningful on the horizon. Whether you're an adoptive family, a supporter, or just looking to get involved, our calendar is your guide to connection, support, and shared purpose.
